Be B.R.A.V.E. our 5 Minutes of Fame!

We had a blast doing this video for the Young Women to let them know how much we love them.  This song has such a strong message.  As you watch us, make sure to listen to the words, and just remember:  We Wanna See You Be B.R.A.V.E.

Pictures of Camp Sariah

Last Saturday we took an adventure and went to see what exactly Camp Sariah had in store for us.  It will be so much fun.  Here's the pictures to let you see what we saw... Wouldn't be fair if we kept all this a secret, You're Welcome!!!

This is is one of the pavilions that you will enjoy to share with your ward
Hope the snow is gone by the time we get there.  Make sure you bring something warm, it gets chilly in the evening!
Planning out decorations and such so everything is just right with Sister Cordon and Sister Todd
This is where we will have our meals, and crafts.  What's camp with out crafting.  And we have the best, Kelly, Martha Stewart, Sansom.  Be prepared to be amazed ladies...
This is nothing like we are used to...we actually have space, and places to put things.  Amazing!!!
The amphitheater is where we will meet each morning and also our "Jungle Jam" will be held there on Tuesday night as well as the Light of Christ night on Wednesday evening.  You won't believe what's in store.  It's going to be awesome!

Barbara and Wendy, we seriously have the best leaders.  It's going to be awesome!
How could you not smile with these ladies in your company?  What a grand time we have whenever we are together... Truly the blessings of service is the friendships we make!
Still smiling...
Bunk beds in the cabins, high enough for those totes to put things in.
White boards in each cabin.  You will need to bring dry erase markers and erasers.  Magnets will work on these, too.  No pins, or nails.  These cabins need to remain as is for many, many years to come.  Put your time and efforts into the lanyard pins to trade.  These are things the YW will have forever, the decorations will go away, these pins will have memories that last and stories to tell.
What a great group of ladies, and we all share helpful hints.  Margaret is especially knowledgeable as she has been here before.  It's awesome to have a veteran among us!

Don't even think about changing your plans and not being there!  It's going to be so much fun, but only if all of you are there.  See you soon.

Certification - A Really Fun Night, Who Knew...

We had a blast at our Camp Clinic.  Our specialist Raeann worked so hard to get all the stations up and running.  We had CPR where the girls were able learn how to understand what to do in the event of someone not breathing, they learned how to tie bandages and tourniquets, the fire fighters came and all were able to put out a fire with an extinguisher.  And, bonus take "selfies" on the fire truck.  This was a huge hit.  And then we had Tanner and Brother Cordon, with Laurie Mudrow show how many different ways to cook in the great outdoors.  And what activity would be complete without a delicious dessert to end with.  So, dutchoven cobblers were dished up to the girls and leaders with vanilla ice cream. YUMMY!!!

If you missed it, you really did just that.  And, we missed you.  All who attended will receive a pin to put on their lanyard for camp, isn't that awesome.  You're already on your way to a great full lanyard of awesome pins that you can tell your friends and family about when you return how you earned the pin and what it stands for.

But, if you didn't get to attend, don't be sad.  We got some awesome pictures so you can feel as if you were there.  However, we missed you...

See, we are going to have a blast at camp!  Plan now to attend:  June 30 - July 3, 2014

Let us introduce your Stake Camp Safari Guides...

I love Life.  I am thrilled to be a daughter of a Heavenly Father who loves me and places me in exciting experiences, with wonderful people around me.  I have been married to my best friend Derek for 28 years.  We met after we both finished serving missions, (crazy story).  We have great adventures together that require much laughing, serving and loving people.

My Heart has been pulled into four parts:
1.  People of Portugal...where I served a mission
2.  Brazil...where we served as Mission Presidents
3.  My Family...all Six Great kids, and one grandbaby coming in April 2014
4.  A big part of my heart is with the YOUNG WOMEN of the Bountiful Orchard Stake.  I LOVE YOU ALL!!!
I am Bonnie, I am a Mormon, and I am B.R.A.V.E.

All I ever wanted to be was a wife & a mom.  I have been happily married to Wayne for 24+ years and am the mom to three handsome young men.  I love to craft and have lots of rubber stamps and paper crafting supplies.  I am a blogger and maintain several blogs on a daily and weekly basis.  I have finally learned to enjoy exercise and get up every morning, except Sunday and hit the gym by 5:15 a.m.  I love life, the sun, laughing and having fun. I love Girl's Camp and have been too many times to count.  I love the missionaries (especially one particular one in the Monterrey Mexico West Mission right now)  and the Gospel it is the foundation of who I am.  I am Tammy.  I am a Mormon.  And I am B.R.A.V.E!
I am of valiant pioneer stock who passed to me the traits of being hardworking and obedient.  I have lived in Davis County my whole life, except while earning a BA in Advertising at BYU where I fell in love with clever dialogue, whitty banter, and my husband. I am a chatty, chocoholic, missionary mom of 5 incredible kids.  My hobby is cheering for my kids in their hobbies.  I am addicted to gum, chapstick, and lotion.  My favorite place to go is the beach and I still dream of learning to surf someday.  I love walking with a friend, singing in the car, and family scripture study.  My happiest moments are laughing with my family--luckily that happens all the time! I am Wendy.  I am a Mormon.  And I am B.R.A.V.E!
My husband, Ryan and I have been married 25 years, we have two wonderful boys. I love spending time with my family, we enjoy playing games together, camping, hiking and boating, our favorite family vacations are trips to Lake Powell. I joined the church in my twenties and didn't have the opportunity to go to girls camp in my youth, I have been many times as an adult leader and I love it, I am looking forward to girls camp 2014!  I am Tiffany. I am a Mormon, and I am B.R.A.V.E!
I love working in the yard and around the house, and taking on new projects! I love spending time with the four handsome men in my life - 3 sons and one husband. I also have a beautiful daughter in law, a sweet grand baby on the way, and a grand dog.

I have always loved Girls Camp as a leader and youth! It is the place where I first bore my testimony, and where my testimony grew strong when I was young. That testimony is what helped me be brave when I lost my mother while I was still a young woman. It helped me be brave when my husband and I moved far away from family and began raising our own children, and when my children left home to serve missions.

I am know my Heavenly Father loves me.  I am a Mormon.  I am Joan.  And I am B.R.A.V.E!

My name is Kelly, and I love to serve in young women's!  It is the best calling there is.  I married a handsome man who shares my first (and last) name. We have three boys and a border collie.  I love all of them with my whole heart.  I am a photographer, jewelry maker and a fanatic.  I love the gospel, I love The Lord and I know he loves me and you as well.  I am Kelly , I am a Mormon, and I am B.R.A.V.E!
I have been married for almost 30 years. We have 4 children, 2 girls and 2 boys. My youngest son is currently serving in the Minnesota Minneapolis mission. I attended school in Vienna, Austria, and graduated from both Utah State and BYU. Our family loves to travel, especially on cruises. We spend a lot of time around water. I love to swim, scuba dive, sew, read and cook, but most of all I love to spend time with family. I have always loved girls camp as both a youth and a leader. I love my family, the gospel, temples, and the church. I am Barbara. I'm a Mormon. And I am B.R.A.V.E!

Can you even stand it?  These are just some of the women you will be able to go to camp with. So my dear sisters...get ready for an adventure of a lifetime.
